God speaks

Once in a while, a book comes along that really speaks to your heart. A book with a message that is just what you needed at just that time in your life. Such is this book, The Shack by William P. Young.
Tradegy has stuck Mac's family and he has a 'great sadness' hanging over him. But when God intervenes in his life in the form of an African woman, his life is changed.
One of the reviews from 'The Shacks' website: Finally! A guy-meets-god novel that has literary integrity and spiritual daring. The Shack cuts through the clichés of both religion and bad writing to reveal something compelling and beautiful about life’s integral dance with the divine. This story reads like a prayer—like the best kinds of prayer, filled with sweat and wonder and transparency and surprise. When I read it, I felt like I was fellowshipping with God. If you read one work of fiction this year, let this be it.

The author spoke at our church a couple of weeks ago. I think I'll pick up the book now.
