This is about the only good way to take a guy shopping. Keep him moving and cater to his every whimper.

Kara, Creed and I went shopping in Frisco Saturday. We stayed the night and shopped some more Sunday. Ryan met us for lunch and he went with us to Ikea. He promptly declared Ikea a nightmare and was ready to leave within the first five minutes of our venture.

If you haven't visited my niece Angela's new blog yet, you should. She writes about her life and her point of view on current events. Her stories are insanely funny. The blog heading states that it is the 4th Funniest blog on the web....I think she may be wrong about that, I haven't found one more humorous than hers. Now then, to address the question everyone is asking, Tall Curly Biscuit? What a name! Well, that describes Angela very well. She is tall with curly hair and (I recently found out myself) biscuit is slang for an attractive woman, and she certainly fits the bill. We had a very nice time at Garry and Gracie's for Thanksgiving in their new beautiful home. They were great hosts and their house is perfect for a large gathering.  The food was plentiful and it was so nice getting to see family that we don't get to see too often.  Then we went to visit Mike's mom and Uncle John. We are so blessed.

 

Three Months old

  I ordered this chair for Creed as a Christmas gift Sunday from Pottery Barn and it arrived tonight, just in time for his three month old pictures. He is getting so big!

Toscani Soup

I am linking up to a previously posted recipe for Toscani Soup, similar to Olive Garden's. I made it last weekend and it was a big hit. This time, I made it with Sweet Sausage. It had sweet basil in it. I bought it at Albertsons and took the casing off of it prior to cooking it. Click here to see the recipe. I served it with Asiago Cheese bread that has been made in to garlic bread. This makes a great meal. Enjoy!

Creed and Joey

We had a nice visit with Ryan while he was in town for his 10th High School Reunion.  Saturday night, Mike had gone to bed and I  was watching TV while lying on the sofa.  I thought that I heard Ryan come in  the garage door and I felt the sofa rock to the east, back and  forth, like Ryan was body slamming it! When I got up, no one was there! I ran to the bedroom and Mike was confused. He too, thought that Ryan was messing with us. We experienced the aftershocks of the earthquake in Prague, Oklahoma. It was a strange experience.

The kids came over for a pizza night. Erin and Steven came too. It was a quiet night in our neighborhood but we stopped by Garry's and he said they had over 100 trick or treaters there.
