We have been trying to sell Mom and Dad's house and today we found a buyer!
Kara decided to buy it. It needs work, but it will be a real nice starter home for her. She plans to put in laminate wood floors in the living area, re-carpet the bedrooms, repaint to her color specifications, and this is just a start.
She says we can have Christmas Eve at her house sometime for old times sake!
Kinda nice to keep the old homestead in the family!

Wow, that is so exciting for Kara, is the bathroom still pink? I hope she keeps it that way, for memories sake only.
P.S. Both Arthur and I think Mike should buy a new motorbike. In fact we were thinking of getting another one for me to drive around for shopping, but instead we will be investing in solar water heating system. You've gotta pick your choices.
Mara, Kara says she will take a picture of the pink bathroom for you as she does not plan to keep it that way. But... that will come later, we will do what is necessary for her to move in and she can slowly remodel as time and $$ allow. Paint, carpet, blinds and wood laminate flooring come first.
So you two voted for Mike's motorcycle! I hope he decides not to get one, but with Mike, if he is thinking out loud, it usually means, he will have it soon.
