This year we decided to try to grow our own tomatoes since the news says they are going up in price as much as 200% because of the bad weather in Florida and elsewhere. I had read on another blog that the Topsy Turvy tomato grower (about $10 at WalMart + the cost of the plant and soil) really worked, so we are trying it and we already have two little tomatoes. I don't know how it has survived this awful wind that we have been having. I wish March would have not shared that attribute with April. I thought April was famous for its showers? Also planted a plumbago that is supposed to have little blue flowers and also a bougainvillea. We will see if we can keep it all alive.
