We had a nice Mother's Day. Kara and Ryan went to church with me and then they cooked out steaks, asparagus, and stuffed, bacon-wrapped jalapenos. It was delicious! We ate outside, a rarity for this time of the year for it to be cool. The temperature was in the 60s and we had the chiminea to keep us warm and there were not any flies to bother us. I got a nice park bench for the front yard, but of course the best gift of all was their prescence!
Then, off to visit Mike's parents. We had a nice visit with them too!
... and I am ever thankful for my sweet Mom, on this day and always!
