Reunion Reflections

My super talented friend Paula took this picture on their recent vacation. Her note to me follows:

Here's a pic of the place where we had our family reunion supper on Saturday night. This is near Montezuma, New Mexico...up in the mountains. I should have gotten some photos of the inside of the house. It's solar powered and has heated floors. The pond in front of the house goes to 12' deep. It's fed underneath by a nearby creek and it has a drainage pipe that takes the water back to the creek, so it's always fresh. They stock it with fish. I'll send a pic of one caught while we were there. I think it was 9 lbs. and 26" long. They have sheep, chickens and horses and the place is beautiful. There is a family of Mennonites that live on the property that they hire to take care of everything.

A beautiful place and the reflection on the water is overshadowed by the reflective moment of a family gathering. Very lovely!

Love that red roof. It's even better to see it twice. :)
