The Burn's Fantasy of Lights is the annual Christmas event for Wichita Falls. This display started out as yard decorations in the Country Club home of Mr and Mrs. L.T. Burns and now finds its home on the grounds of Midwestern State University. See the display and read about its history here.
When we were kids, Mom and Dad would drop us off so that we could join the crowd walking around the Burn's sidewalk on the corner of Clarinda and Harrison. The robot blew bubbles and poor Santa was always soaking his weary feet after a long Christmas season. What great memories.
