Kara and Joey worked hard this weekend planting bushes and flowers. The yard is looking real nice. Kara bought a gardenia bush to go on the front porch. That beautiful aroma just belongs with the old homestead as Daddy always had gardenia bushes growing in front of the living room window. He loved to take them to church to pass out to all the ladies. I bought a frost free gardenia bush for my backyard too. I hope I can keep it alive. It is full of blooms and the scent is heavenly.

Good luck with the Gardenia's, I killed mine and now I have a rosemary bush in it's place, I've heard they are pretty hard to kill.
It looks great. We have Gardenias all over the place and they do well with minimal care, but then, we don't get freezes.
